Description

Under the direction of the Interactive Director and Creative Director, the Senior Interactive Designer is an innovative creative thinker able to translate ideas and concepts into useful and memorable interactive marketing, web, and motion-based designs. Attention to detail and ability to uphold and deliver work at the highest quality standards. Passion for design in all media is essential.

• Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
• Undergraduate degree and/or a minimum of five years web design experience in agency or publications-related field.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines on a daily basis.
• Experience creating detailed wireframes
• Healthcare, government, environmental, and/or non-profit experience a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to be flexible and effectively work with and cultivate team-building relationships with staff, clients and vendors.
• Possesses a high degree of drive with a proven track record of meeting deadlines with consistent, high-quality work.
• High-level of proficiency in Mac OSX, Adobe CS4/CS5
• Understanding of motion design and the strengths and limitations of Flash, Ajax, Flex, HTML5 and other emerging platforms.
• Comprehensive understanding of interactivity and the Web and the fundamentals of information architecture.
• Understanding and ability to create concepts for banner ads and email blasts and newsletters.
• Familiar with designing for social media networks such as YouTube and Twitter.
